Sprint Woes & Google Apps
So my two day wait for my phone to be fixed turned into a 10-day ordeal with Sprint. I am too frustrated to even write-up the entire incident. I have never been a fan of Sprint's customer service and they again proved to be lacking in that area. In the end I got a new phone, and actually got the upgraded, longer-life battery version of the phone I had purchased, the ic502. Sprint also gave me a decent credit for the days lost. In the end I guess it worked to my advantage given the credit and the better phone. Who knows how much potential business may have been lost in that time. I guess with the holiday (July 4th) and all it may not have been that much.
Speaking of business, things are picking up nicely. A steady stream of customers and business has been coming through. One online application that has been incredibly useful for me has been Google Maps. I am late to the game using this simple, effective tool, but I have found it indispensable given the travel required to pickup PC's and make house calls. See for yourself at http://maps.google.com. It "remembers" previous searches for quick recall and the directions are clear & concise. They also print easily if you need a hard copy for the car.
Thanks for reading!
